Itinerary From Barcelona: Tarragona

Tarragona is the southernmost province in Catalonia. You can easily get there by train. It takes 1,15 hours and it costs only 7 €. There is also a bus, but the train is probably the best way , it's cheaper and faster. Tarragona could be a nice idea for a day trip from Barcelona. The Roman and pre-Roman ruins are the main attraction in Tarragona: the remains of the Amphitheatre, the remains of the Forum, the Christian Necropolis and a bit further out of town lies the Aqueduct also known as the Devils Bridge. But, if you are looking for golden sand, sparkling water and lot of sun, you can spend some relaxing hours on the beautiful beaches of Tarragona.
